Hey everyone,
Today I spent most of my morning over at Wheeldude in Fremont, CA trying to fit some Linea Corsa wheels to my 2009 G37s sedan. I have bought 3 other wheel sets from these guys for my Subaru STi and I wanted to see what they have to offer us G sedan fellas. Their service has always been top notch so I brought it to them to see what we could come up with. The wheel style that caught my eye was this Linea Corsa Veneto. They haven't produced these yet in our bolt pattern or fitment but Wheeldude wanted me to post these images up to see what kind of interest might be out there. If there is much demand then they will be offering these wheels to us and in different finishes. What do you guys think?

I don't know anything about the wheel or it's quality but I think they'd look nice on the car. Except for the BMW center cap.

 

Is there any particular info that you would like to know about the Wheels? As you can tell the only sizes they carry right now is for the BMW. I believe they left the center cap on from the photo shoot in those installed photos.

 

I think those look great (if you can get the BMW cap off of course). In my opinion the 18" 09 Sedan wheels are just okay, nothing special. They don't advertise the power of the car.

 

I think they look nice; are they available in 18"?
What's the price and weight?

 

I'm going to call one of Wheeldude's sales reps to answer those questions. Hold on tight.

 

Personally not a big fan of wheels that dont have lip for G's but for a non-lip wheel they are nice.

 

This is actually why I liked these wheels because all I ever see on G's and 350-370s is staggered lips, but also it was really hard to find a 19" with 44 offset. I also tried these but I had to run spacers to fit our huge brakes.

Linea Corse Wheels are very well known within the BMW community and are starting to become popular among Audi, Lexus, and 350Z markets. They can view our official Linea Corse wheel thread in the e90post members gallery (Hundreds of BMW's running LC Wheels).

Linea Corse Wheels are manufactured with low pressure casting and surpass all JWL/VIA test standards. They also further test the wheels with a 13* drop angle and 90* drop angle test which helps to simulate a pothole.

The BMW center cap was only for display and can be removed. The wheels would come with the standard Linea Corse cap which is on the front wheel in the pictures. This model is only offered in 19" fitment and there are no plans to release a smaller 18" wheel. The front 19x8.5 wheel is ~24 lbs and the rear 19x10 wheel is ~26 lbs. The wheels would be $1299 shipped for the staggered 19x8.5/10" setup.

 

They look somewhat like one of the OEM BMW wheels . . .

 

Yeah that's what I thought too, like a M6 but I guess that's why I like them.

 

I think they look too much like the BMW wheels, which IMO looks out of place on a G. Like putting the angel eyes in the G's headlights. It may look like you just took the BMW wheels and slapped it on the G.

Why not go with something a little more different?

There wasn't enough interest to get these moving, but if you are serious about these wheels then I would contact Wheeldude and see if they are going to make a future batch in our bolt pattern and offset.

 

they need a lip and way lower offsets, and wider widths.

other than that, i like the design.


would I buy them NO... Unless they have my specs.


Maybe I'll stop at wheeldudes shop and have them custom make me some wheels

 

I test fitted a lot of Wheeldudes wheels to see if any would fit without being crazy aggressive. It seemed like some of the 350z-370z wheels would work but with lots of negative camber and some fender work. If you like the hella flush look then those might work for you. Contact Zoeb or Dan over at Wheeldude and I'm sure they will do their best to help you out.
