Lease is up new rear tire is needed.... question

My lease is up in 3 weeks and just got my car inspected today.Everything passed except the rear tires needs to be replaced.

Can I replace the tire with the same size but with a generic brand possibly some used tire?? With that in mind do I need to match the front tires with the same brand??

I think it just needs to be "of like" spec with 5/32" tread depth or more. No Walmart or Costco stuff...
Pick up a set of used tires if you can.

According to vehicle report

LEFT rear indicates 3.00\32
RIGHT rear indicates 3.00\32

If I do get some use tires for the rear, do I need to schedule another re-inspection??

If you replace the rears, I think you just need to bring it to the dealer and have the person responsible at the dealership for taking the car back check that you took care of any issues on the report and you are good to go.

Was this inspection done by the state or the dealership?

If it is the state inspection, just drive without for a few weeks. Your lease is almost up.

I assume he is talking about the inspection required by the leasing company just prior to turnover of the vehicle.

Why would you get tires with 4/32? Chitown just said you need 5/32.

I dont thing you can find any used tire with depth of 5\32 .
4\32 depth seems to be respectable grade to have the my fees waived
