Question on Winter wheels with spacers

I have a 2009 G37x sedan and upgraded the brakes to the Akebono's. Anyway, I ordered MSW Type 11 18" wheels from tirerack to use with my winter tires and although they clear the brakes in the front, they do not clear enough to actually tighten down the lugnuts without rubbing.

I am looking at Ichaba wheel spacers and have a couple of questions. All I need to clear the brakes would be 5mm for the front. Is there any advantage to go with 10mm or larger? Should I consider adding spacers for the rear wheels as well?

My wife has a 2009 G37s coupe and bought the same wheels. We have not tried to mount her wheels yet but I am anticipating the same clearance issue. Any recommendations for spacers for her?

Thanks
Ryan

Well you can put a 5mm spacer without having to use extended lugs or hub rings. The stock hub is 10mm so youll lose half of it, and youll get about 5 turns on your lug nuts.

otherwise youll have to go with 15mm bolt ons. And youll have to check if thatll clear the fenders.

This is what I am looking at for the front:
5MM Aluminum Wheel Spacers

So would these solve my problem?
