Question Winter Wheels

Hello. I just looked on Tire Rack for winter wheels for a G37 Vert and they recommended 18 X 8 wheels all around. The original wheels are staggered 19's. Will 18 X 8's all around work?

Be very careful with which ones you buy. Our sport brake calipers make clearance an issue for almost all 18' wheels, but there are a few sets out there that will clear them. Make sure you post on this forum or ask someone from Tire Rack to verify clearance.

A few addtional thoughs on 18s in the winter:
Wheel off set can also be augmented with spacers to achieve the proper clearance. I know that many folks have dedicated winter set ups on 18s and run a wider side wall to compensate for the small wheel diameter so the speedo remains true. Additionally, you will also want to get winter tires with a (slightly) narrower tread stance to for improved traction in the muck.
Good luck!

So I decided to run the vert in the winter after all. I called Infiniti in Calgary and lo and behold they now have all the 19" winter tires in stock!
The car is going in next week, total charge: C$1600 all-in + they will store my summer tires at the dealership.
I love Infiniti!
