I don't think it's that bad. Gotta get it mounted and balanced I'm sure. Since it's a steal and you're saving some cash, who cares what others think.

Wow I just realized, this is a borderline mentality for modding my car like Civics.

I see what you did there Solis.

Your ride is way to tight to be rocking different brand tires in the front and back, don't do is, don't do it, don't do it!!!!

I dont see the big deal. As long as its diff front and back. If you got diff tires on the right than the left, that be geetttoooo.

I had Nitto on my fronts and Neo Gens on my rear, is that semi-ghetto? I mean its the same brand, different model...

But no... Different brands are ghettolicious.

Ehh, I don't think it's a big deal unless the tires look very different, kinda like how some have rounded edges and some are more square, that might look weird..

I have a confession to make

I called the store to get the tires mounted before heading to autocross, agreed upon Nitto 555's all around. As soon as I get there he tells me sorry, we thought we had your front specs in stock but we didnt, we do have Toyo's in stock though and their tread pattern is somewhat similar. After a 10 min argument and 20 min mounting time, I walk out with Toyo's up front and Nitto's in the rear

<--- Guilty of being ghetto

As long as they are the same from side to side (two fronts are the same, two rears are the same) then it should be all fine. I guess a lot of people do it because the rears wear out faster than the fronts all the time.
