Yokohama S Drive in 245/40 and 275/35

I'm looking to put these on my stock 19" wheels. I've read good things about this tire and these sizes...

245/40 R19
275/35 R19

Now my next question to ask...where's the best/cheapest place to find them. I found them on Tire Rack but I think i can get a better price elsewhere.

Thanks for your help.

I had those tires in that size. I wasn't able to find anywhere local or online that had them cheaper than Tire Rack. At the time I got them they had just came out and not many vendors besides Tire Rack had them in stock.

S.Drives for me too when it's time for new shoes.
I'm thinking of putting them in +0 fitment on some VolkTE37s and keeping the stockies shod with Blizzaks.

How did you like the tire in that size? Any complaints or issues? Do you by any chance have pictures of them on your car?

Thanks Betty

Thanks Betty
The size was the perfect +0 size IMO. I liked them a lot. I'll see if I can find any photos of them on the car but I don't think I have any where you can actually see what they look like.

I liked the tires better than the OE Bridgestones. The Yokos were quieter, better ride, close to equal dry cornering, better wet cornering especially as they got worn.

Thank's for your help. My other question is...I love the rim protector guard lip on the OE Bridgestones... did the Yoko's have that also?

Nope. If it does, it doesn't stick out far enough to do any good.

I have Sumitomo HTR Z III right now because they are the tires that came on the wheels I bought and they were almost brand new so I didn't want to waste money replacing them. They are much better than I thought they'd be. I like the Yokos slightly better because they seem to be a tiny bit quieter and maybe better wet traction, but both are a good tire and a good value IMO. If money isn't a factor in the decision, I'd go with the Yokos.

We have a Tire Rack Rep on the forum as a vendor. Get with him and see if he can hook you up. He gave me 30% off my set.

J/K. I wish...

haha yeah I called him and he wasn't much of a help.

I just got a sick deal through discount tire. $800 shipped with stems. He took $52 off my order just because I said I want a good deal

Thanks again

I just had these exact tires and specs put on a few weeks ago. So far they are really great. Very quite and better ride compared to the stock bridgestones. Traction is good too wet and dry. On the track they aren't quite what the bridgestones were at the start, were breaking loose in corners a little easier, but once they got warm they were great and handled just as well as the stock potenzas.
