I have been thinking the same thing, however it is hard to say what size spacer would be good, also you have to remember if it is offset to much your going to rub.

I just priced up 18" wheels/tires on tirerack and it a came to $1340 with shipping. It might be cheaper to find a used set of winter wheels and purchase some wheel spacers. There are tons of pre-2008 G35 and 350Z wheels out there. Not sure which ones would clear the brakes with wheel spacers though.

I need to find a set for the winter. Can anyone comment if wheel spacers will do the trick?
