looking for 19x9.5 by 19x10.5 pics

I've been searching for pics that show 19.5 by 19x10.5 pics but they don't seem to be too abundant due to the fact that most move up to 20's, but I like the 19" rim, just want it wider. So if you have pics or link to pics that show this setup can you please post up? thanks.

thats what I'm talking about! That looks sick! I think the meatier tire looks more imposing and bulldog like. To me 20' look too fragile. Though there are ALWAYS exceptions to the rules!

btw, what combo are you running?

Just go 20. They look better and have cheaper tires.

most 19s are lighter though so you get better performance. looks arent everything.

Looks are everything. The G is not a performance car and 3-4 lbs wont make much of a difference.

Well let's not get carried away here. The G "is" a perfromance car on a certain level. While its not an Elise, or Zonda, or F430, it certainly is more than a Ford Fusion or Honda Accord. And as for 3-4 lbs, that is quite allot. The old addage in the day I was hot rodding cars was that for every pound added to a drive tire it was like adding 4 lbs to the cars weight. So 4 lbs on each drive wheel would be 4x4x2=32 lbs of weight the engine would feel. Know its been awile since I've heard that addage so don't kill me if its off, but you get the point. I've put probalby 15 different sets of rims on all sorts of cars and drivetrain configurations and in every case if the wheel combo was just couple of lbs heavier it could be felt in suspension reaction, breaking, accleration. Generaly if feels as if lead weights have been added to you're wheel. Now maybe my butt dyno is more sensative, but in my case I never want to go heavier becaue I do think the car has a performance level I want to maintain if not improve and heavier wheels do not accomplish this. Now if you only goal is looks then you have a point.

As for 20's looking better, thats subjective. As for 20" tires being cheaper than 19" tires, I did not know this. Up until this car I've never owned a car with bigger than 18" tires. I do know that every tire i've ever bought that was bigger than the previous tire costs more, but it's been a while so I guess times have changed.

horrible argument.

20s weighing near 30 lbs will be about .5 sec slower in the 1/4 than 19s in the low-mid 20 lbs. thats a HUGE difference in speed/acceleration just for some looks. sure if you just want to cruise thats fine, but some of us care about things like handling and performance.

you can have good looks and performance by buying a nice set of 19s or even lightweight 20s.

Just buy the 2 piece brake rotors and you will make up the weight savings and then some. I guess everyone has their own priorities.

While this will help a little, the problem isn't just the weight but where it is located. The 5 lbs removed from the brake disc arround the central hub does not negate 5 lbs added to the rims outer ring. The effects of rotational mass are worse the further away from the center you are.
