Would I need a camber kit?

So I've been talking with over 10 different spots that sell Vossen 084's. Regarding the size of the tire, i was told i needed:

245/30/20 Front
285/25/20 Rear

so i DONT rub. I have been reading a whole bunch of posts regarding this but i see some people that got 305's that dont rub and then people with 285 that do rub.
--I'm dropping it with eibachs at the same time. Question is, would i need front/rear camber kits? I got a couple yeses and a couple no because its only 1 inch. Your opinion?

wait until you lower the car and get an alignment. That's the best way to tell. I have a rear camber kit for sale if you need one

LOL, I was just pming you.

You really want to run a 25 series? I'm actually bumping up from 25 to 30 . Its way to sketchy in MI .

At any rate, with the eibach pro kit you wouldnt need a camber kit. I would assume that the stock arms would put you back in spec or damn near.

i was told i wouldn't even notice a difference between 25 and 30. I originally wanted 30 back and 35 front.. MI is horrible.. I just dont want to do all this maintenance and crap.. What issue would i run into if i did decide to run 30R and 35F?

Everyone has an opinion on tire sizes. From Vossen via PM "That is the best size IMO. 245-35-20 and 285-30-20. I see a lot of people run 245-30-20 and 285-25-20 and I think that looks too small." Roads make a difference.

As for front/rear camber kits, I agree with posters above. Get the wheels, tires, drop....wiat at least a week and then get good alignment. Decide on kits from there. Also, keep in mind that you actually increase the chance of rubbing as you go less negative with the camber.

If you just rub on liner or bumper bracket, then there is an easy DIY to fix. I think you are better off with larger profile tires for the ride quality even if you have to trim.

Good luck. Please post your results as I am curious as well.

Added: I can't vote ''yes" or "no", because I would vote "wait and see".

You probably want to keep your overall wheel / tire diameters the same to avoid wrong reading on your speedometer . . .

245/35-20 front
275/30/20 rear . . . or 285/30/20 if you want 285s . . .

Yeah on the 082 I think the offsets at 32/39 and with 285/30 you will probably rub and have to trim depending on the camber setting [others runnig Volk report rubbing on 10.5" wheel at +37 camber using 285/30.]

The 085 are going to be 38/45 so not sure if 285/30 will rub or not with an extra +8mm of room over Volk or +6mm over 082. I am sure we will find out.
