lol I doubt I'd change my mind. First time I saw the 082s I fell in love with them. Only thing that's holding me back is that they weigh like 32 lbs each. I wouldn't mind something that weight around the same as stock but not that much more.

I think you'll find that for light weight performance your looking at about 1000k per wheel, forged, volks etc,, the exception being forgestar cast wheel, about 24lb each for 19's and about 1500 for a set. Good luck, I'm looking for a light wheel with a lip and I think volks maybe my only choice??

Guys I remembered I had an xtra rim laying around. soolman32 you remember I had accident with rear rim and had to get a replacment?.. Anyways long story... Well I didn't throw out the rear rim since it cost about 450 dollars and I couldnt bare to chuck it in garbage.. was going to make a stool of it lol! Anyways since we where on this subject I decided to get it out the garage and weigh it on a scale that weighs to the 1/10 of a pound.

The Rear XIX X21's weight is officially: 33.4 LBS.

So I think I was misinformed on the weight somwhere. Anyways wanted to bring this to the post for info.

Great info! Quite useful!

I'm not looking for light wheels to improve performance, I'm looking for a nice set of wheels with a lip that won't make it worse. Still have a few options around 2000 but I'm not sure I've found the right set of rims yet. I wouldve loved the XIXs if they were closer to 27-28 lbs, not 33...

^^ Those are the XIX model# X05's... And ther are very nice. I almost considered getting these instead but with black face. Unlinke other XIX wheels with steel lip these are polished aluminum lips.

They are available in:

a) black window/diamond cut machined face/polished aluminum lip
b) black window/black face/ploished aluminum lip
c) All chrome <- yuk!

And can be bought online for around $1,200.00. They are as well made and fit finish are as good as Vossen wheels. The diamond cut is better as far as I noticed on my X21's vs 082, 083, 086 Vossens.

^^ Its cool no invasion. This post index's well in Goggle lol!

I think it should look good, but I will recommend you have someone Photoshop it for you beforehand.

Rims are tricky. Where a specific rim looks hot on one car it may not on another. So I would recommend a proof of concept before you go spending your money or go to a local car meet to see them in person on someones car is the best way to know.
