can someone tell me what this bolt is for and if i can just remove it? thx

Have to take it off to install spacers. No issue with taking it off.

its probably some kind of lock, I had it removed to install my spacers and car's running fine

the pin is there so you can't mount rear wheels on front.

had some problem with my tire so i took off the wheel and saw someithing diffenent. since it doesnt affect anything why keep it right

Its simply used at the factory to keep the rotor intact during its trip down the assembly line. No harm at all removing it.

as somebody else posted:

the bolt is there to prevent someone(you , tire shop, etc) from putting the rear rims on the front by mistake, Since they're different sizes but look alot alike, it holds nothing on...

kind of an idiot bolt
