Glossy Black Lip
Black lip ain't gonna be that hard to maintain. Having a chrome lip (Stainless actually for the Vossen) would look much better on the IP in my opinion. As far as cleaning material, I would use soap and water as others have suggested.

Thanks for the clarification. I have to agree with the prev. posters. Maintenance isn't that hard. I personally like the contrast between black and otherwise (chrome or stainless).
If you do get a chrome lip it's just the maintenance dealing with rock chips that's a pain. Namely nothing you can do about it. I'd see little chips in the lip occasionally and there's nothing I could do about it. I mean, it's just a lip on a surface mere inches from the ground. No sense trying to have someone rechrome it. Besides, I've only had small specks of damage. Only things I'd see when detailing the car. Mind you, this was on my old daily driver, so not bad considering the wear and tear.

<<<<~~~~~ and 08ivorypearl have the hardest wheels to maintain...multi piece white lips...all the excess water and dirt comes out and redirties my freshly cleaned lips..what a pain!!! lol but so worth it....stainless is nice..but just remember it dont shine like chrome...i had stainless lips on my DONZ montana's on my G35 and the lips dont stay like they are when new and someting caused my lips to stain a bit
