if i powder coat.

if i powder coat my stock rims.

will it remove all the curb rash and place that scratched?

and if you guys did same thing as this, how much did you guys paid?

Yes and it cost around $100-125.

I believe they would actually have to repair the rash first since powder coating is just a way of them applying paint and then baking the wheels. So just like if you were to just paint the wheels normally, you would have to repair the rash first.

Your wrong because your answer is not explicit. I know wheels can be fixed at the same place that the powder coating takes place. Your answer to the question posed suggests that any and all scratches to the damaged area of the rim will automatically be fixed just by applying the powder coat or paint over the damaged area.

Read the post again and try to think about how other people may perceive the question. Do the same with your answer and hopefully you'll see. If you still don't get it, I'm afraid I can't help you. Class dismissed...

i want to say that, just doing the powder coat will remove all the scratches, that i have on my wheels,

so i think you guys are saying NO.

i need to repair that first and powder coat it.

am i right???

and im think about to powder coat, glossy black, ,or met black.

they dont refinish the wheel for powdercoating. all they do is sandblast to prep the area. if you wheel has rash, they wont fix it. you will need to get it fixed depending on how bad it is. worst case, sand it down with fine grit so its smooth then powdercoat.
