Not to sound like a noob in this department, but you would think there is some kind of pattern protection on the Volk designs no? I mean I can see a company ripping off the overall style with some differences so it's not so exact, but to make an almost exact replica just seems wrong, no?
Now I know what some of you are going to say... Rota are knockoff, cheap, and for poser. But I used to own a set for my WRX and knows a lot of people who used to rock Rota. The quality is very good and they look like the real thing for much less than your bank account can manage. Most of us buy rims mainly for the looks. Some buy for the bragging rights in terms of brand name.
They are just as ugly as the rotas...no wait...uglier.
Umm... Okay dude. Then don't buy it. What's your point? By just saying they're ugly your saying Volks and all the rims they imitate are ugly too because they look identical.
I read most of the posts at this link over on my350z. Geez they are rough on each other and vendors. It was like being hooked on a poor soap opera.....I couldn't stop reading. I think we all owe our moderators a thanks for not letting this forum deteriorate to that level. Very ugly.
Looks like this wheel from Rota is not coming out until early 2009. Only 19" and doesn't look like offsets close to what is needed for G37 for aggressive stance. Appears they are targeting the higher volume Z market. That is all I learned in over 200 posts.....

working, chilling, the usual. car is great, im am super happy with my choice. cant wait for a couple weeks when im done modding her and get to start beating on it. the dragons going to be great this year too.
