Sweet thanks for all the feedback, makes my choice alot easier with trust from a bunch of the brothas of the G37 Forum! If anyone else has any comments or feedback keep them coming. I was heading toward the Yokos or the TR1s since I never tried any but still not sure.

I ran the Yokohama ES100 on my Talon, and the S-drive on my WRX. The ES100 is the old version, basically the same tire without two circumferential grooves. I've autocrossed on the ES100 and would say it is a great summer tire. They were pretty sticky for a street tire, the wear is okay but not great.

I liked them enough I bought the S-drive for the WRX, but can't say I had enough miles to give a good opinion. They hydroplane less than the ES100 and still have good grip for a street tire.

I've owned 2 sets of the Yoko advan sports and love them. Great grip, quiet as hell. I know they aren't the model you are looking at but they are still yoko and a great tire.

Well, I saw Black Betty's Yoko S Drives and they look great with excellent reviews. Unfortunately, the 275's are on back order 8-10 weeks from the factory. I need tires now, so I will be installing a set of Nitto NT555 Extreme tomorrow. Purchased 245/35-19front and 275/35-19 rear.

Paid $1086 installed at Discount Tire. I could have purchased a little cheaper online, but Discount Tire has many stores in Houston, TX. The convenience of local repairs, lifetime balancing and warranty outway the savings elsewhere.

I liked the Nitto Invos as well, but many of my friends purchased the Invo's with corvettes, cts-v, z-28s and mustangs say the sidewalls are a little soft and flex too much.

Will update later when I rack up a few miles.

Well, 1 week & 500 miles since I installed my Nitto NT555 Extreme tires.

Installed 245/35-19 front
Installed 275/35-19 rear

Dry traction is excellent and they are very quiet. But, it rained for a few days and noticed wet traction is not as good as the OEM Bridgestones. Even with VDC on, it still slips alot more. They are a little harder and have a treadlife of 300 vs 140 OEM tires.

I am please with these for now, but may try the Yoko S-Drives in the future.

Great Traction(On/Off Track).
My only problem is the fronts wore really fast on my G35 Coupe. Soft compound. I've never had a tire that cut right through water like these. Amazing

I'm about an oil change away from new tires. So I will add these to my current 37 Coupe and see how things work out.

i was the first person in st louis to run the t1-r's 3.5 years ago and i havent looked back. i drive pretty aggressively with vdc on and they have always held up great in dry and wet conditions. they have 1 of the highest tread ratings out there. i averaged about 16k miles on the rear and 30k on the fronts. when i take my car down for work later this week ill probably end up swapping to toyos.

ps tires didnt play a role in my avatar.

good luck finding them in our size.. that is unless you ar running an aftermarket set up....

What's frustrating about the stock set up is that there are literally no other options.
