welcome and congrats on the new 37. ive seen bbs wheels on a g35 before and they have the same bolt pattern. now the only thing you have to do is find wheels with the right offsets, mid-30s. as far as widths, 20x9.5/10.5 seems to be the biggest most people are running. i know g35/350z's have run 11s in the rear but guess it depends on your offset.

 

would it be possilbe to run 20x8.5 all around with +40 offset?

I LUV LMS, i came from a bmw too, i luv LMS too! but i think u have to custom order for our cars, i say just go with Volks, Iforged or HREs its easier.
as to 8.5 all around, i think its too narrow for the rear, u need to go at least 9.5 or higher for the rear u want the rear wheels to look fat! on our bmws 19 by 8.5 all around is perfect, but on the G u definately gotta go staggered with fat lips in the rear!!!

as wut BJ had said 20 by 9.5 and 20 by 10.5 is most common.
