I'm workin on it now. Left a message and e mail. I have the confirmation e mail that specifies the vehicle make and thankfully I took the name of the rep i spoke to. I'm gonna try and be realistic about it though and don't expect a complete refund. I had tires mounted and most if not all companies consider them to be used once a tire is mounted. In the future, i won't be so lazy and will test fit them without tires instead of taking their word that they'll "fit like a glove" and having them shipped directly to my tire guy.

You lucked out! By the looks of that picture you might of had even bigger and uglier problems the first time you nailed a bump at just the right steering angle!

if they fit on a G37 coupe w/o the sport package, I would say try to sell them local too. jcw is a VIP customer here at Infiniti of Massapequa

I had a similar problem... bought a set of rims from carmodifier.ca (in Canada). They were 19" rims from Fast Wheels (19x8.5 w/ 35mm offset). The guy I talked to even put me on hold to call the company and make sure they fit. I was promised they would fit but when I tried to have them installled they wouldn't clear the calipers either... sent back for a refund (mostly).

Makes you nervous when buying rims for this car... even a lot of 19" rims won't fit.

What are the correct specs for the offset? I have Blizzak LM25 225 50 R18, but what kind of rims should I be looking for? I found some rims that are 18 X 7.5 JCW you are sayin the 18 x 8 are the right ones?

^^those 225 50 R18 tires will fit a wheel ranging in width from 6" - 8" acccording to bridgestones reccomendations. The width of my wheel was not the problem... it's the thickness of the actual metal on the wheel's inner lip which is rubbing. as for the offset, i don't know the exact specs... i believe it was in the range of 35 - 45 but check on that. tirerack is reliable in my past experience.... should've used them again this time

Well, I got my happy ending... much to my surprise. I spoke to a rep today who was very understanding and realized there had been a mistake. He offered a full refund because of the fitment problem. The only catch is that I have to pay for shipping to their Ohio facility instead of shipping to Canada which is where they are based out of. The shipping costs may be a bit pricey and I have already gotten some offers from buyers. So I just have to weigh my options to see which is more cost effective. But big props go out to discounttiredirect.com for offering a full refund even after i told them one wheel was scratched on the inner barrel of the wheel by the caliper and all of them had been mounted with tires and weights. It was a headache, but in the end I'm only gonna be out about $75, which ain't so bad
