Replacement tires

So i blew one of my rears, and all my tires need replacing anyhow so I need some advice. I'm not very experienced with buying new tires and I need to know what everyone recommends. I've read all the posts I guess the size I'm supposed to be asking for is: 245/40x19 fronts; 275/35x19 rears.
is that correct?
Now what brands do you guys recommend it's been a few months since some of the posts have been updated so people will have more experiences to share. I'm hoping to go get some tomorrow all help is greatly appreciated. Also my car is lowered if that should affect my decision.
I'm in Ontario and looked at tire rack just need to get some more input before i order!
Thanks in advanced !

Get some Yokohama S.drives man... Great treadwear, great traction, great price... I know Black Betty has some too and he loves'em... I've heard nothing but good things about them...

it also depends on ur bugget and the way u drive.
if u drive hard and want handling definately go with wut david has recommended.

for cheap and long lasting tires and decent traction i recommend

GENERAL!! FTW!!
