Where are you buying tpms?

I am trying to find out any info on the sensors I can. The part number I have come up with is 40700-JK00B. Does anyone know if any other cars use this sensor? I have not found any. Has anyone found them for a decent price? Cheapest I found them for is $77 each at Infiniti parts usa. I have been looking at ebay for awhile and haven't seen any come up over the last month and a half. I really don't feel like dropping another $300 just for some sensors.

$77 is about as cheap as you are going to find them. I think that is what we pay for them too, plus shipping..haha.

My car came with them already installed.

OK, I’m being a smart a$$, but I sometimes don’t understand the rush to replace OEM rims.

OEM wheels for the G37s don't bring the sport out of the car.

Well, as much as I tried to slow it down, becoming a senior citizen was upon me all too quickly. If it wasn’t for Viagra, I wouldn’t know what I would do.

But on a more frank note from old fuddy duddy who understands this is quite a minority viewpoint around here, replacing OEM rims is not only costly and invites TPMS problems as the OP suggests, but then they will collect dust in someone’s garage or storage area for ten years until they’re finally thrown out. I also have a problem with replacing rims that were designed by highly paid design engineers to enhance the car’s appearance for a set that, at least to me, doesn’t do much better.

Besides, when the car is moving no one can tell what kind of rims you have anyway.

Wider, lighter wheels enhance performance as well as looks, especially if you regularly take the car to a track. Stock rims are kept in the garage, then put back on the car when it's sold. High quality performance wheels can be sold for at least half the original purchase price which makes up for some of the money lost. Cars are money pits no matter what.
