Are you in a sprot model? If so the tires are staggered and unidirectional....no rotating.

Yes I have the sport model. Do I occasionally have to rotate the front left tire to the right side? and vice versa for the rear tires?

If you rotate Sport summer tires left and right they will be running backwards

Please don't do this

When the stock rubber goes, it's a sign that you should go get yourself a nice new set of rims and rubber!

u can swap side to sides but then they will be going backwards. If your not in a place that has bad weather it shouldn't be that big of a deal. I know i was going to swap sides with my other tires.

Tires have to be dismounted from the rim to rotate and rotated side to side not front to back.

^^ Exactly. You would need them to dismount the tires & mount them on opposite sides to keep them pointed in the proper direction.

Don't know about you guys with the sport model, but I have the journey with sport 19" wheels and they are not unidirectional tires. No arrows of rotation of any kind on the side wall. In this case rotating left to right would be ok

They are not directional so if you swap sides you will most certainly NOT be running them backwards as some have mistakenly stated, but there is a marking on the sidewalls for "inside" and "outside" denoting the tires proper mounting orientation on the wheel. This means that you could simply swap sides with with wheels on an axle, but this would do no good as the inner part of the tire on one side would be the inner part on the other side too if you simply swap sides. If you dismount the tires and mount them properly on the opposite wheel, like some have suggested you get the exact same thing.

In short the answer is no, these OEM 19" Bridgestone ties cannot be rotated in any way whatsoever. [/thread]

You can rotate the tires side to side without issue (I have done it several times now).....

They do have a inside and outside marker but when rotating side to side the inside is still inside and the outside is still outside.....because you are in effect rotationg the tire 180 degrees (flopping it on it's front/back axis meaning you swap the direction of rotation but not the inside and outside....)

No true rotating but swapping sides is no issue...

Edit - I read the previous post closer and he is correct but there is still a benefit to the swap. The benefit would be you're changing the stresses on the tires. Say you drive essentially the same route every day....swapping the tires from side to side will change the direction of wear on the tires.....

It's not going to have the level of benefit a true rotation does on other vehicles but there will be some degree of evening out the wear still...
