Wheel sizes & performance/handling

Alright so i had some free time at work...and went through ALL 20 pages in the "wheel & tires" section (as you can tell i am very busy at work)

but still decided to make this thread.

Didn't really find too many threads with usefull info in it.
If i where to get 20x9 F and 20x10.5 R instead of 19x8.5 F and 19x10 R what are the main difference i will feel.
How would ride comort and handling be affected?
Also, i in no way want to make the car slower but how much of a difference in performance is there really?
Some people say there is a big difference, others say its not noticable.
I know the weight of the wheel plays a big factor in this but i dont have a weight yet, i am looking into a set of forged 3pc. custom wheels.

Thanks

Welcome to the forum

Much of it depends on what brand of wheel you are going with. I have owned numerous vehicles and have used both 19" and 20" rims on my cars and personally I cant really tell a diff too much. If you go w a set of forged wheels in 20", you should be solid versus going w a 1 peice cast 20" set if you are more peformance oriented.
