one of the main reasons is they do not want other manufacturers using their offsets. some companies spend good $$ for r&d and other companies might not.
taktix, d2 has the cheapest price ive been quoted in the last couple of days. grubbs-s used to cost 2399 for a set but that was a couple of months ago. damn, i knew i should have jumped on those...their vsxx though. very similar.

8 weeks and I ordered Matte Black. VS-XX looks better.
