Hey guys, I'm looking at a set of Work VSXX's and I need some help...I know our cars run high offsets and I know gan78mao is running +15 all around! I pmed him about the specs and he says they will fit, I just want to double check before I make the purchase. Thanks.

Why are you tires sizes so small?

That rear offset sucks...

 

Agreed on the offsets.. But your tire sidewall sizes are a little too low profile

I'm actually picking these up from another memeber on another forum. They are mint...I just want to make sure that they will clear my brakes up front?

yeah, the tires should be 35/30 for 20's

you should go more aggressive in the rear, like 30ish. +44 would stick in a little.

8.5+17 would like 9.5+27, so your front would stick out a tiny bit.

 

i have no clue if the front would clear. if they wont, just buy some spacers.

 

Those look great and if they are already mounted and balanced and ready to go.. And the price is right for you.. I would definitely go for it.. Let us know your decision!!!!!!!

I'm pretty sure the fronts will clear without spacers.. Alex's car (Gan78Mao) I believe doesn't have any spacers and he is +15 all around.. The rear should fit with no prob what so ever.. Like I said if the price is good for you I would jump on these.. Cause from the pics they look very very nice condition...

 

They might not, not sure until you try it. If they don't, you can try running more negative camber in the front.

 

If he runs that in the rear, he would have to change to a 275 tire. The 285 would rub.

Yeah. I highly suggest though changing to 30 or even 35 sidewall. You'll thank me later if you ever parallel park or even just curb them lightly and all you scrape is tire. Plus, if you ever do any spirited driving, you're gonna need it.
