i remember the feeling last august when they stole mine.

PMS when your husband called me I couldn't believe it. Well everything is working out and I'll be seeing you this week to pick up your car. I'll have it nice and washed and shiny for you. Also, I'll bring my car in for your son

I didn't want to keep the G in my driveway like that, so when I called the dealer in reference to the price of the rims and tires, they asked me why I wanted to get a price on them, so I told them what happened and they told me that they would send 2 guys from massapequa of infiniti to put tires on the car and keep the car there until my insurance company sent the adjuster to check into the situation. I asked them if there would be a charge for this, and they told me not at all, so that's where my car sits until sometime today when the adjuster gets there.

That's exactly what we are going to do first.

We told him that we own a G35 and asked him if those tires and rims that he has would fit my car and he said yes, so just waiting back from the email for the address.

Hey Kenny,

My insurance company told me today that the adjuster should be there sometime this afternoon. They should call me when they are done. I didn't know you went through the same thing with your car. It really does s**k. My son is interested in the G35 sedan. That would be good so he can see it. thanks

Absoultely, I was really surprised that they did that for me. Nice to know that a dealer would do that for you. +1 for Infiniti of Massapequa.

I got all my rims and parts engraved with a code (not the vin#), so if anyone takes something and i end up in ur situation, i can prove its mine because that code is on all my parts and is registered to my insurance company.

and plus, the insurance company paid for it and gave a discount for the premium also, so why not.

Thats a great idea. The insurance company did it for you or you did it yourself. If you did it yourself let me know how you did it. Or if you took it to a place to be done, let me know what type of company. Thanks

the insurance did it for me, gave me a coupon and i went to futureshop, which is Best-Buy for you, the audio department does it. It takes like 30 mins to do.

make sure you tell ur insurance, so u can save some money on the premium.

i'm surprised ur insurance didnt tell you, I had it done the same week i got the car.

It basically clasps onto the wheel making it unable to turn. You can still steal the rim but they might think twice about it knowing that it would be a PITA to get the locks off. Probably would not be worth the time or effort.

These things are pretty damn heavy, so whoever stole them would have a hell of a time trying to cut them off. If I were a thief I would just move on and look for an easier mark. Now, if they really want the car, all they have to do is a get a flatbed... so there's never a guarantee with anything.

An after market alarm would have helped out a lot.

That club for the wheel is a waste of money, and if you have that on your car you would look stupid.
