Yep, takes me about 15 seconds to sanp it in place and to take it off as well.

 

so, around 400. where can i buy these? correct, the piece of mind is worth more than 400..

 

How do they actually work? It looks like it just goes through both sides of the rim, and doesn't actually do anything to keep someone from stealing them (other then make it slightly more difficult). A grinder or cutting torch could have those off in no time.

 

^^my thoughts exactly. they'll be able to steal the rims, take them wherever and cut those things off. that product looks like it'll stop someone from stealing the car, but does nothing to keep the rims on the car. at least thats what it looks like...

^^if i was a thief and saw this product on some rims, i would just take the rims off w/ that product still on, take it back to my garage and torch/grind those things off. i just want to know what is it about this product that would prevent me from doing that?

 

O.K. guys/girls, a little update for you. Received an email from him today that he still has the rims for sale. Got his name first and last name, told him I wanted to take a look at them because I am interested in purchasing them, now just waiting again on an email back for his address in queens. We'll see. We are probably going to be taking a ride to queens tonight or tomorrow.

 

hey Pms1212, I probably missed ur post, but what's happening with ur G, is it still on ur driveway sitting on bricks while searching for rims.

 

Ride by first and see if he owns a G with aftermarket wheels and a sport package. If so, h's probably not your man. If you go and he has no G, I'd ask where they came from and judge his reaction.

 

Tell him you drive a G35 and want to upgrade ////so he dont put 2 and 2 together...

 

Exactly. Grinder / cutting torch might be a little obvious in someones driveway, but what prevents them from taking the rim and all? I'm all for something that works, but I don't want to be out another $400 if it doesn't......
