Recommend tires for OEM 19" rims

From reading the threads, it looks like the largest tire size you can go with on the OEM 19's is 275/35/19 Rear and 255/40/19 Front. I'm not gonna replace the factory rims, at least not right now. Since I'm in South Florida and we don't get that much snow here, which tires do you guys recommend?

If you can get some Michelin Pilot Sport AS that fit, I would recommend those. I loved those on my 2003 G35 Coupe

I had the Michelin PS2's on my 05 G35c and loved them. at least for the first few thousand miles they were noticeably quieter than the Bridgestones.

Taking cost into consideration, I'm looking at the Kumho Ecsta SPT in 245/40/19 and 275/5/19. I've never rolled Kumho's before but have heard and read some good things. They have good ratings and don't cost an arm and a leg like the Pilot Sports. I don't need A/S Tires in Texas.

Anyone have any experience, positive or negartive, with them on the G or any other car?

Ya you can get these that fit or go up to 275 in the rear. plus the A/S will give you a better tread life with only a slight drop in preformance.

Michelin FTMFGDW i cannot wait to burn the stock tires off this car.

I also run 18" pilot alpins on the car in the winter.

Go with the A/s pilot. 275 35 19 in the rear and the stock rear size in the front.

I bought a set of Bridgestone Re050a Pole Position for the rear, 275/35/19 and put the original 245/40/19 in the front and It has been great. This way the tread all looks the same and the car has much more grip, and a little more noisy as well.

Have you noticed any change in how the front tires follow tracks/grooves in the asphalt? Are the 245/40's any better or worse than the stock 225/45's? Thanks.

No, haven't really noticed any difference, the fronts have been all positive. Bigger contact patch, more grip...it's all good and look right.

I had Khumos 3 cars ago. They were nice. I liked them. They were relatively quiet and had good wear, handlng, and traction.
