Do larger rims impact performance?

I've seen some people go up to 22's for their G37. Does that slow down your car? Does it depend on the combination of rim and tire size?

If you look at high performance cars (Ferrari, Porshe, Vette, etc.), the stock wheel size are 19s.
IMHO, anything over 19s are more for the bling.

largest I'd go with would be 20'. I think any bigger is TOO big (for a car that is).

But just think of all the months of waiting you would have to do to get all those wheels. You'd die....

Aren't the ones you have coming in, coming soon? I have another 5 weeks or so, and was told yesterday that there is a 99% probability that I will be on travel for work for 3 months, so I'll only be home on the weekends...So I probably won't be able to put the wheels on anytime soon even when I get them

Exactly. In racing circles, the idea is to use a wheel just big enough to clear your brakes.
