Eibach pro wheel spacers on a g37

I posted some pictures in the media section early on after I went to 245/40/19 Potenza RE050a Runflats up front and then 275/35/19 Potenza RE050a Runflats in back. At that time I also was playing around with some wheel spacers to get a slightly more finished look. (Even with the wider tires things were a little deeper under the fenders than I was looking for). I had used some cheap eBay spacers that I wasn't happy with, but have now moved to a nicer, hub centric version.

I recently "invested" in a set of Eibach pro spacers; 10mm rear and 5mm front and thought I would post some shots. These spacers are designed for the 350z or similar 114x5 wheels, and work fine on the rear, but the fronts have a small stud on the brake hub than prevents these particular spacers from going on. I need to put the spacers for the front in a drill press and drill out the hole nearest this stud so they will fit, once I do this I will post pictures of the front and finshed product. I also have just ordered some stillen sway bars which will complete my suspension/ wheel-tire mods for now.

No I have a set of 5mm for the front... I had a set of cheapo 8mm which was perfect, but they were not hub centric (didn't fit diameter of wheel and slide around) and I didn't feel safe driving with them (See picture with them on).

8mm in my opinion is perfect width, but Eibach, H&R or Iciba do not make or no one carries an 8mm for our cars. So a 5mm was the best I could do.

I think we are talking about the same thing, although I am not sure what a dee dee dees is....
I hadn't tried to remove it b/c I thought it looked like some sort of balance or weight to balance the brake rotor or something. I will try and take some photos tomorrow when it's light out and I have time to pull one of the tires.

is it on the face of the rotor? like a mini 6th lug sticking out or something

if so just unscrew it. it is to keep people from putting the rear (wider) wheel on the front of the car

That sounds like what it is, but I won't have time until late tomorrow to do anything on the car. I'll experiement and hopefully you are right and it isn't somekind of spring loaded balance shaft that will explde in my face and mess up the steering of the car forever!!!
