Don't let the overpriced wheel police effect you. Those wheels look better than many. I agree, spending 5000 plus just for wheels on this car is ghetto. You can do fine for 2500. Wheels are just personal taste, if YOU like them, get them.

Look more into your tire choice. Read the tests and user reviews at Tire Rack. Toyo type rim protectors don't fare so well and getting Goodyears or Michelins isn't much more money. Your selection is pretty limited in 20" however.

Im not sure "ghetto" is the best term for 5000 rims...

The AVARUS dont look that bad, the thing to be concerned with is clearance for the caliper.

When you see Tahoes and Escalades that you know have 72 month loans riding on 5000 dollars worth of 22" rims from a rent to own rim place what would you call it? GHETTO.

So my use of the word is correct in this case, if you use the definition of ghetto as buying a flashy overpriced status item on credit.
