Question About Wheels Sizes?

there are these wheels that i absolutely love. Originally i did not even think about changing my wheels until i saw these. Problem is that i do not know squat about wheels/tire sizes or what any of the numbers stand for.

The wheels read this: SIZES 20X8.5 FRONT (1" 1/2 FRONT LIP) & 20X10 REAR (4" REAR HUGE LIP)

I hate! the 4'' lip on the back wheels. If i just buy 4 front wheels at 8.5 (i believe that is width) would that look stupid/be stupid/take away from performance.
Please leave any feedback at all as i have no clue what to do to get these on my car.

Also there is no size 9 width or anything. they go straigt from 8.5 to 10.
and what tire sizes would i need?

The simplest answer is, "It depends". Post which wheels you are referring to. Pictures would be nice too.

you will have no issues running 8 1/2 all around if the offset is correct. You need to post up some info on the wheels for us to give you the best advice....

Here is the wheels on superbuytires.com
http://superbuytires.com/Ace%20Alloy/Executive/
And for a better picture here is a seller on ebay of the wheels.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...211737897&rd=1

They are Ace Alloy Executive wheels. (Are these durable and good or too cheap and how can you tell?)

My second favorite wheels are by Forgiato called disegno here is a picture
http://superbuytires.com/Forgiato/Disegno/

Im pretty new to these forums so i do not know how to post pictures well.

The problem about 20x9.5 in the rear is it seems that Ace Alloy Executive wheels only come in 20x8.5 or 20x10. (whatever that means i do not know)
and what does "1"1/2 front and 2 or 2"1/2 rear" mean? Son't forget im retarded with this stuff.

well the ones you posted from ebay are 20 offset. Not even in your wildest dreams would those fit on a g. You need to call who ever you want to buy them from and ask what the offset is of the rims.

Maybe i should have posted this :
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...TQ:MOTORS:1123
He originally was selling those wheels for the g37. I assumed that they were the same because they looked the same.
Does the new page i posted help me out at all?

I think the OEM wheels looks wayyy better then those ebay one...IMO

sorry i was brain dead at work earlier...I meant you could get a nice set up...i know u dont want the 4" lip in the rear...

You could get a set up 20x8.5 front 20x9.5 rear with a 1"1/2 inch lip in the front and a 2" or 21/2" lip in the rear for a decent price...depending on the wheel.

But if you dont care for a lip...go with the OEM 19"s I think they look really nice and wait a few months...especially summer time and you wont have to pay the 2k ppl are asking for.

Hope this helps
