i am almost certain that G37C use at least the same offset as the G35C.. possibly even lower than G35. ( i am talking about aftermarket rims)

which means 19 x 8 or 8.5 or 9 or 9.5 F with 20-35 offset depends on the width of the wheel
and
19x9.5 or 10 or 10.5 with 15-25 offset depends on the width.

same specs for 20"

Parts mgr at my dealer is telling me the same thing, my brand new Volks GTAV's will NOT fit the G37, because of the rotor/calipers.

If your volks are sized for big brake kits, they should fit without any problem.

Turns out Wheelautohaus ordered me "hi pass" wheels so that is one expense I can put into the plus column.

Question

Front: 19 X 8-1/2J Aluminum/43 mm
Rear: 19 X 9J Aluminum/45 mm
I have no idea how to shop for wheels but I'm about to start looking for some for the winter. Does this mean that the front rims are 8.5 inches wide and the back rims are 9 inches wide? Will I need to do the same thing for winter rims or doesnt it matter? Obviously the 19 is diameter, but what does the 43mm/45mm offset mean? What happens if I choose a wheel with an offset lower or higher than that exact number?

Hard to say ... offset should be specified with wheel width. Another thing to consider is whether or not you are planning on lowering your car. The suspension geometry actually changes so what looks good on a lowered car will look bad on a NON lowered car.
