Vpp 2012 g37?

I got quoted for a 12 G37 (premium, sport, navi packages) today using my VPP code (plan E). it came out to $37,458.16 from the asking price of $46,864.20. Thant's a total savings of $9,406.04.

Now my questions are.... Aren't the dealers supposed to discount VPP rom MSRP? Because the MSRP on this is in the range of $42,000 or so. Is there ways they can "play" with the prices so that I'm not getting my VPP deal at it's FULL potential?

The dealer had the car marked up nearly $5000?

The VPP price is set amount. From there any available incentives/rebates are subtracted. And if you can negotiate an even lower price, you can try to do that too.

Did you check the VPP website? Infiniti VPP Savings | Inside Nissan USA | Nissan and Infiniti Vehicle Purchase Program

Yeah without that $5k markup, my savings are only like $4500 from MSRP... I'll call VPP in the morning to see if they're supposed to start with the MSRP, then enter the code. Or do it from the asking price.

Are you talking about factory options like the Premium package and Nav. or dealer stuffs? I just cannot imagine a dealer has that many stuffs to add 5k to the car.

VPP isa set selling price which is usually invoice or slightly below depending on which VPP plan you are. I'm Plan D which is invoice for the car minus any incentives.

The new VPP-A plan is $1250 below MSRP, plus any available incentives.
