Please Help

Hello guys, I feel like I have been scammed by carid.com. I ordered a t5i rear decklid spoiler from them and received the package without the third brake light that was said to be included with the spoiler specifically when I purchased it. I called them and the lady Maria said that they will ship me another one within 1-2 business days. Great! But then another lady named Felis called my dad whos number was registered when purchasing the spoiler and the lady said there is no 3rd brake light and that I was suppose to use the brake light from my car(?). But my brake light is shorter than the slit for the brake light on the spoiler(which would not fit). So I checked the website again and it did said "a 3rd brake light is included for safety" was said on the website so I called them again and I talked to Paul who seemed helpful and said they will ship me the 3rd brake light by tomorrow and will call me to verify shipping address etc and even gave me his extension if anything goes wrong. I did not the receive the call and tried to reach him for the past 3 days with no success. Then today I checked their website once again and noticed that the spoiler I purchased is not there anymore. I am thinking they removed it and will never ship me what I payed for. This is fraud. Please any advice would help at this point.

You should return the spoiler then call your bank\credit card company and cancel the payment. How long ago did you order the spoiler?

I ordered the spoiler a week ago so its too late to cancel the payment. Returning it may be tricky since I don't have the brake light and they most likely will just try to screw me over with it.

Ah .... the old OEM vs Third Party spoiler topic, another strike for 3rd party. Just suck it up and get the OEM one people and save yourself the grief.

You should still try and call your bank\credit card company. They usually have policies in place to protect you against online fraud. I think the only cases where they can't help you are international charges.

I would contact your credit card provider, you should have well over 7 days to make your case.

Dispute the payment, it's easy and takes one phone call. Cancel your order. TRUST ME, you only want the OEM spoiler. Cut your losses and save up for OEM.

Not to thread jack but did you have a bad experience with an aftermarket spoiler? It seems the issue here is the seller not so much the fact that it was an aftermarket part.
