Been using the forums here for a little time now and thought I would finally post and wanted it to at least be useful.

I recently got a 09 G37X sedan and picked up quite a few different lights from Diode Dynamics.

I want to make sure Diode Dynamics gets the positive review that they deserve. Everything I ordered shipped very quick and had it faster than I was told. The fog kit did take a little longer, but was back ordered and I understand it takes time, so I was happy to wait.

The main thing that makes me want to give them praise is the customer service by Nick over at Diode Dynamics. I tend to be a very impatient and ask a lot of questions when I buy something new. Nick always got back to me very fast and answered any questions I had. He never seemed annoyed or short; even though I had sent a good amount of emails over the month I had been dealing with them.

I would definitely recommend Diode Dynamics and purchase from them again. Great customer service and great products! Glad to get rid of the yellow halogen lights inside and out of my car. The HID fogs are amazing.



List of what I purchased (all stage 2):
-License plate lights
-Front map lights
-Rear dome lights

Headlights:
-Headlight direct replacement 6K
-Fog light conversion kit 6K

As far as install goes, all of the non-headlight/fog lights were pretty simple installs. The glove box was a little work, but still pretty simple.

The headlights and fogs took some time, about 2 hours due to not being able to take off wheels, but install was pretty straight forward. Mounting of the ballasts and everything was decently easy just time consuming.

I’m a new proud owner of a lightly used 2011 G37 coupe. It’s the car I’ve been dreaming to get for quite some time now. And as such, I really wanted to go with a solid vender when it came to aftermarket bulb replacements. After a bit of research I decided to go with Diode Dynamics for the trunk light, license plate light, map lights, door lights, city (or clearance) lights, and fog lights. Everything fit perfectly!

There was one issue though - my passenger side fog light. During the install (about 4 days after my order shipped, and 1 day after receiving my order), I couldn’t seem to securely twist the bulb connector into the fog light housing. When I tried to remove the bulb to reposition it, the glass bulb detached from its black connector. After prying the glass bulb out, I decided to contact Diode Dynamics to see if they would offer a replacement bulb. Nick S. from Diode Dynamics responded pretty quickly, and was extremely understanding. He shipped out a new bulb WITH return packaging and slip for the broken bulb - free of charge! I was very impressed with their excellent service!!

I managed to get the new fog bulb in the housing without any further issues, and boy do they look GREAT! They even match my stock HID Xenon bulbs. With their outstanding service, quick response times, and solid products, I’ll definitely be shopping at Diode Dynamics again. Anyone with a G - seriously consider this vendor. I’m telling all my friends about them.
