ehh, I hope my experience is better.

I too ordered through Mark and sent my payment on December 23rd of 2010, so its been a full three months. Depending on the materials and disks available I know the wheels themselves take quite a bit of time to manufacture. I was told I'll easily have them by mid April...so we shall seeeeee......

I will say that Mark has been great to work with. An extremely knowledgeable vendor when it comes to wheels sizes/offsets/disk sizes and ordering.

If I don't, believe me you'll hear about it ...esp since my car has been on jack stands for the past 5 months(not a big deal in the winter months...but with spring on the way, little diff story)

Wow. Was browsing through the Works they sell last week and waiting until I got money. Multiple negative experiences?
Thanks for the heads up.

Glad I didn't order from them. Especially if this is the way they treat their customers. There are other vendors here on the forum and out there that have more respect for our money, time, and patience!

Eh. I think more damage will be done by a loss of business. Especially if he posts on more than one forum...

Hi John:

I just found out about this. Here is my side of the story.

1. You ordered VSXX Burning Black. Prior to you ordering this wheel, I already told you that VSXX + BURNING BLACK will take at least 4 months wait. This is how long WORK VSXX are. other WORK wheels are faster, but VSXX is a long wait. In addition, you wanted BURNING BLACK, that's a two stage custom color. It took an additional 4 weeks just to make that color.

2. We got the wheel into US since Jan 2011, via air freight, paid the extra money $800 to expedite it here. After we did, you told me you want to refund. The wheels are still sitting in my show room.

3. It's been sitting at our show room for 2 months.

4. I promise you a refund, but the condition is that we make the refund after we sell your wheel.

5. We stated very clearly that "custom" wheels, are not refundable, however we are willing to make the exception for you, but the terms are that we need to sell the wheel first.

Any company that give refund will charge at least a fees, and we are not charging you ANY fees.

We have been selling WORK Wheels for many years and we always come through for our customer. If you have any concern, give me a call or email.

I did reply to you last night. I am not avoiding you at all. I can be reach at 631-586-3520 if you want to discuss this privately or we can discuss this publicly.

Mark.

no offense but if you order Work wheels, you know they are custom made and take months to build them from scratch.

I know all the guys at RAVSPEC personally and yes they are one of the most organized vendors out there.

James:

We did make a mistake shipping the roof spoiler to a different customer and when we realized it, we 2nd DAY AIR a replacement to you. I think we have done all we can for you.

As for the rear apron, the money was automatically withdrawn by the system, if you want a refund, just let me know, I'll refund that since this is not a custom order product.

If they are CUSTOM wheels, make specifically for you, i understand the no refund thing. Its hard to sell wheels which are specially made for a certain person. But the rest seems a bit shady, with all the wait time ect.

is there a policy or anything in writing, documenting that no refund would be processed once the order is made or ordered with the manufacturer? If so there would be restocking fees or anything like that? You have no right to hold someones money until you sell the product unless it's in writing somewhere.

Also note, we paid $800 USD to air these wheels over for John, and we are eating all the cost of shipping.

We are actually losing money on this order, but we hope to bring them in faster to deliver to John, and when we are about to ship it out from NY to him, he called and cancel.

Just imagine my frustration of dumping all those money to expedite shipping for nothing.
