What do you consider a cruise? There are some nice roads around there, but none I'd like to travel at speed in the dark.

 

Will meetup hangout and talk then grab a bite to eat then we will cruise from there around maybe in that area or toward streets of woodfield, a lot of the cars attending will be lowered as well and its much more smooth roads then chi town

I did a bit of this in my bike days.... Until the rentacops at SoW kicked us out. In fact, SoW is not bike friendly any more at all.

I'm going to have to pass on this, but may have some interest in a more challenging cruise - tossing the idea of doing a rockford/byron/dixon cruise. Keep an eye on here and/or chicagoz. Typically around 250 miles round trip from the city.

Yeah, I saw that. After years of burning fuel for joy rides on bikes (close to 200K miles in the last 18 yrs.... I shudder to think of all the fuel wasted ), thus my cruising days are much limited these days.

Between elgin and LG there's few roads I'd consider technical. Even the rockford/byron/dixon area barely cuts it any more.

Here's an all time favorite. 3 days, ~1400 miles, IL, IN, KY, WV.

Had over 70+ cars 35 at rookies and the rest me up at woodfield in schaumburg. Great turnout thanks for all who came. I will set more meets up like this I think there was a great amount for my first meet this year and dont forget to check out my lake geneva meet may 25th.
