Dec 2 Meet at CalSpeedway, Fontana
Bring your G37/35 to the Nissan Performance Festival on December 1-2 at California Speedway in Fontana.
There is a Toys 4 Tots charity fundraiser/toy collection with the US Marines on Sunday, together with a shine and show car show put on by Team Transport, a local car club and sponsor of the charity event.
In addition, on both Saturday and Sunday, Speedventures has rented the track and there are both autocross and open track high performance driving education opportunities. This is a terrific opportunity to take your car on one of the best race courses in the country, with special attention to the novice or newcomer driver. There will be instructors with experience in the G35/37, classroom sessions and on the track experience, courtesy of Nissan Sport Magazine and Speedventures. Check it out, and sign up. If you come only on Saturday, bring a toy for the kids anyway! IF you don't want to drive on the track, or even participate in the shine and show competition, come anyway and just hang out and watch the action. There will also be a session in the drivers lounge (the same one the NASCAR drivers get their briefings on race day!) of the high performance driving experience so that if you are not ready to hit the track this time, you can get a solid professional orientation to what it is all about, in a respectful and friendly atmosphere towards the newcomer to high performance driving.
You have an awesome machine. This is a doorway to learning how to responsibly enjoy it even more. At a real bargain entry price. And do some good by helping out deserving children.
