NORTH FL_ Tallahassee & Surrounding Areas...
If any Tally or North Florida G's are interested I am heading to the St. Pete GP next weekend (April 4-6) and trying to get some Tampa Bay G's to meet-up. I am leaving Thursday night and coming back Sunday.... I have family in St. Pete and have accomodations for my wife and I, but can probably recommend some nearby motels/hotels if needed by others interested in going. You can get pretty much unlimited access for the entire weekend for $150.

Kind of on the random side but does anyone that lives in the Tallahassee area have a solution to the pollen problem? I hate having my car filthy but I find it stupid to keep washing the car when 15 minutes after I am done, my OB car is yellow.
LOL - try having a blue car.... mine looks green. The pollen only last a couple of months. About all you can do is buy a cover for it, but then what happens when you take the cover off?
Keep washing a way....
Keep washing a way....
We tried it once, but didn't get a lot of results, but I am one who believes to try and try again......
What say everyone about trying to get the Tally area G- Owners together on Sunday, April 20th? Depending on everyones location and suggestions we can determine a meeting place and then maybe do a drive.
Any takers? Suggestions?

Tallahassee meet
I'm, up for a meet. If its a G/Z meet both my son, a 350Z, and me, G37 would like to attend. Many car clubs in Tally. Why not add another one. 08 G37 Slate Blue, stock but love it. Hey, I'm an old man LOL
Suggestion for Sunday Apr 20:
How about meeting at Po Boys up North (across from Fresh Market) for a late lunch about 1pm. Then doing a drive up towards Tville and cairo. I have a nice route I drive that takes you out Meridian Rd then over to Cario and back down to Tally via Thomasville. It's about a 100 mile drive through nice country roads....
Let me know who is interested and who wants to showup..

What do you think about a Tally, Cars & Coffee
Pdarby - Great to meet you and your son. Hopefully next time we can get even more folks there.
I don't think I will be able to make the 4th event, I have a lot of campaigning to do over the next few weeks. But am tossing around another idea.....
I mentioned to PDarby that I attended an event a couple weeks ago when I was in Tampa at the offices of DuPont Registery. They do it every Saturday and it is becoming a trend elsewhere around the country.... you may have seen a segmet on the one in Irvine, Ca on Meguire's Car Crazy also, but Coffee and Cars is an event that you do and get folks to come out early one morning to a large parking lot and meet up and just share their cars.... I suspect there are tons of really nice cars in Tally that we seldom see on the road. Such an event would be more casual without the pressure of an actual car show....
I may call Devoe Moore out at the Antique car musuem and see if he might be willing to let a group use his parking lot one saturday morning. Since he doesn't open until later in the a.m. it might be a plus for him to get more exposure, plus he being a car guy might get a kick out of it. I may also contact a couple of dealerships I have contacts at and see if maybe one of them might be interested in sponsoring some coffee and donuts? Prestige might?
If others are interested and we can get a venue, we might want to tap into our other connections... I still have friends in the Miata Club and Corvette club, and I thing PeterBanks said he use to hang with the S2000's and PDarby the MG's. It might be worth a try..... any feedback?
On another note.... I have contacted the General Manager of this place http://www.monticellokarting.com/home.html to see if they do Open track days.... might this be the type of outing a local G/Z club or group might like to do?
Since a day at a regular track through groups like Chin Motorsports etc, is between $300-$400 a day, I could envision such a day at this place to be $100-$150 ea, but don't see anything on their website for guys to come in off the street and race.... $1000 annual membership is kind of step in my opinion, unless you are a karting competitor, but that maybe what they want
