Ya, I could see them doing that for a piggyback system. If they have an issue with a ground wire then there will definitely be a problem. lol

Took my car this morning to Riverside Infiniti for this issue... Got it replaced in 45 minutes... Came with XM for free (at the moment at least) along with Live Traffic... And I also think it has an updated version of Navi in it...

Build date of 1/8/2008. What voice commands are you refering to? What exactly is involved in correcting this?

Thanks.

/Was a hot topic when some of us were demo'd Gs (1st couple mths of release) w/full set of VCs but picked up car w/VC redux (loss of 7 VCs + 2 comfort settings)..wondering about '09s and if there might still be hope for a restore.
//Not holding breath
///Old news..but yes, Infiniti really dropped the ball on this.

Thanks for the link. I can live without the temp command, but the tuning feature would be nice.
Would like to be able to choose.

So which commands are you guys missing? I just got mine replaced and will see if the replacement has it... I know temp is one, tuning is another, (I had those on my prior commands list, so Imma be pissed if they're gone!!! Haven't checked yet) but what are the others?

Gamedog, if you can issue the command "Temperature 70" and your car process it, then you have the original longer list of commands.

The question is will someone who doesn't have the extended Nav commands gets theirs replaced will it give them the extended commands? Not so sure about this if the commands are a part of the software but who knows.
