M45 and Sirius

I noticed when I check the option for Sirius on Infiniti's site, that it bundles up the electronics package, Nav, etc. Can I get aftermarket installation of Sirius on this car, and if so, should I expect or anticipate any issues with the installation?

You can get it installed aftermarket but it won't be as integrated as the parts would be coming from the factory. I have XM and to be able to hit one button and have my pre-programmed favorite stations pop up on the 8 inch monitor is great.

I can't help with that one, since I didn't get Sat with the car. It wasn't offered here in Canada, and if it was wanted, it has to be dealer installed.
So I'll have to have it retrofitted when I do get it, but I'm not forseeing any issues.

From: on some Prius forum somewhere. Also getting 60mpg.
what you can do is get the Infiniti tuner for Sirius and mount it yourself. What you will not be able to do is use the "sharkfin" roof antenna for your sat radio, however I have a solution that works well (I purchased the sat after the fact since I do not like that roof antenna). Run the wire for the antenna through the trunk/rear seat pass through and place the antenna (using velcro) behind the middle head rest. Works well and if you get the rear window tinted, get the Llumar Color Fast on that window. Then you will not have signal issues with the sat radio.
