Prospective M buyer

I went to the dealer last week to checkout a M35x, since the G is a little on the small side for me. I sat in the car for about five minutes, before I became uncomfortable. Is it me, or is the freaking console to wide?

I am 6'1" and my knees kept hitting the console. I can only imagine on a long drive, that it would annoy the s%&t out of me!!! Anyone else experience this?

I'm 6".
Its a big car, no doubt about it.
I have a coupe too.
Whenever I get out of the coupe and into the M it seems huge but I love it.
No knee hitting the console thing for me.

I find everything in the M a little bigger including the console, but I don't find it intrusive at all.
No clearance issues with my knees, and it's very comfy on trips.

From: on some Prius forum somewhere. Also getting 60mpg.
not intrusive at all. I had a coupe and the only thing that bugged me was the seat controls on the driver seat. Felt like they were jutting into your leg. But the M is super comfortable.

Typhoon, the driver's seat has so many adjustments.....try some of those to find a comfortable position.
It's possible one of those will help with the console interference.

i was checkin the M out last month when i was waiting for an oil change, and i asked the guy to fix the driver's seat cuz it was too tight, he did a number of adjustments, i sat back in and i fit perfect

I have been back to the dealer and the freaking console is just too wide!!! No matter what position the seat is in my knee constantly rub/hits the console.

Maybe on a test drive it will be different (doubt it), but just sitting in the car the console is just too intrusive. Maybe I will wait for a redesign

Why do you say freaking so much? You sound like me.

Nobody seems to have the problem but you. I dont think a test drive would be different. And a redesign does not look likely anytime soon. Perhapts you can look at an FX45? or maybe a Q45.

I really want to say f#@$%*g. No FX or Q for me. The Q (Had a 1990) is one ugly car. It looks like an over size Hyundai!!! And, the FX does nothing for me. The wife and I are going to try and get an extended test drive, since she will drive it most of the time. Maybe, things will change.
