I had Weapon-R make a custom intake for my brother's M45 for his christmas present, it will be coming in on thursday and i'll take some pics, etc. If the fitment and everything works out all you M45 guys will have a polished aluminum intake available that runs down by the stock airbox. I will say this though - I put in my order on December 23rd and have been on and off the phone with them (pain in the @ss) then I finally call a week ago and they made the system within 2 days. If everything works out they will already have plans for the system making it a much easier process for anyone else wanting one. I will let you all know how the install goes and what differences it made overall. I know how much it sucks not having performance mods available coming out of owning a FX45 (i have a g coupe now) and thats why I am helping out here (my brother isnt much of a forum junkie). The system was $325 with 3 day shipping from CA to Tampa, Fl. I think thats quite a bargain if everything works out

Great news, man. I can't wait to hear something on that intake.
Mucho thanks for keeping us in the loop. Post anything you hear on it, and of course pics when they're available.....

Intake came in not exactly perfect , had to make very minor adjustments. The car has ALOT more throttle response and noticeable power through the gears. Not much sound difference, The exhaust compliments it well -pics soon

I am gonna just send it back to Weapon-R and let them perfect it. BTW , Impul makes a V8 high power replacement ECU, $2,000 (www.bulletproofautomotive.com, (intake section)...makes me wonder why technosquare doesnt buy the ECU , tap into the software and document the adjustments then create a reflash for the M45, eliminating the need to have one in the shop for a month- maybe the demand? that 2k could be easily made back at 600 a pop, Im gonna call brian@technosquare on monday and see what he says- would you guys be interested in doing a group buy on these if he can do the reflash @ $600 shipped? Could create some incentive and I think the M45 would benefit greatly from this, I already have trouble keeping up with my brothers and I have an Intake manifold, hks exhaust, spacer, stillen cai , pulley, short shifter- the 45 is one fast *** automobile, my brother dusts those lightning pickups

TS will not purchase and remap an ecu according to the impul specs (who knows why). I will possibly be getting pictures later today - I have to send the intake back to Weapon-R for some length adjustments though...

Some teasers for your pleasure :P The tube is being shipped back so the curvature is cut off and replaced with a straight pipe and they are re-welding the crank case nipple to another location due to hood clearance...when it is perfected you guys should be able to get one. It will look great when they get it exactly right, I took a dremel to the engine cover to adjust for the new tubing, then smoothed the cut out with a rubber wheel - you cant even tell its not OEM. We are overnighting it to them tomorrow and hopefully it'll be back real quick so I can post some finished product pics.

Finally something to feast our eyes on...

It's not done yet, but with some tweaking it will be. I see what you mean about the bend at the TB, and the CC nipple. . I hope you didn't dent the hood on that.

When you get a chance, post a pic of your mods on the engine cover too please.

Can't wait to see the finished prod. and hear about the gains and noise change.
