What do you guys think of this '11 M37? It only has ~22k miles, but it seems suspiciously cheap for having such low mileage. Also, in the AutoTrader advertisement for the car, they advertise that it only had one owner, but the Carfax report (which they provide access to) says that it had 2 previous owners.

Here's a link to the car:

Cars for Sale: 2011 Infiniti M37 in BUFORD, GA 30518: Sedan Details - 359749839 - AutoTrader.com

Here's the Carfax:

CARFAX Vehicle History Report for this 2011 INFINITI M37

What do you guys think? Good deal? Bad deal? Avoid?

Would it still be a great deal if it cost $100-$200 more? If so pay that much to a reputable company for a third party buyers inspection and have complete peace of mind. Then go for it.

Thanks for the tip. Generally speaking, do you think that's a good price for an '11 M37 with that many miles? Or should I try to find an even better deal?

Try kbb.com to give you an idea of what the value of the car is.

You should always look for a better deal. But if the car is in great shape it seems pretty good to me. But I'm no expert and I haven't researched prices in that car. That's your job.

Yeah, assuming that the car is mechanically sound and hasn't been abused on the road by a previous owner, it seems like one reason it may be offered for such a cheap price is because it doesn't contain any options packages. That may be a dealbreaker.... I think at least having the Technology package would be nice.

I cam across a similar deal. When I went to look at it in person it smelled TERRIBLE. I paid 31k for an '11 with 27k miles. Its a fully loaded sport model though.

Nice! I guess my original question is a moot point anyways, because I got in touch with the dealership and they said the car had already been sold.

I wish I could find a similar deal to the one you came across. It seems like the southeast isn't the best (buyer's) market for an M37...

If you're looking for a used M, there's a Houston dealership calked Texas Direct Auto. They sell through eBay. They always have several used M's.

X2, also try to find multiple M's with the same package or different packages and test drive the vehicle, if you have a mechanic, take it to him to check out or somebody you trust.

They're on my list of favorites and I check their inventory every few weeks. They seem to sell nice cars.

Another thought for the OP is to use an autowholesaler. Tell him/her what you want and let them go find it for you at auction. Likely you'll get right close to what you want for a low price.

I've never used them personally, but they are legit. My brother in law has bought 3 cars from them in the last 2 years and he is very happy. Their actual physical dealership is huge. I was looking thorough inventory a few weeks ago while waiting to see if my wife's car would be totalled after an wreck (not even close) and they had about a dozen late model M's.

Thanks for the suggestion. Are there any particular wholesalers/brokers you'd recommend using? I found a few on Google but figured there might be a few that aren't as well-known that might charge less of a fee, or be able to get a better deal.
