Question for Da Mayor - passing acceleration M37

Da Mayor,

I am looking at buying a pre-owned m37 or m56 and would like to know what is the difference in highway acceleration between the two from 60-90. Is there a significant difference? 0-60 is understood of course.

Thanks!

I feel M37 is pretty close to G37, easily accelerated when I drop down the gear to 4th on highway. Can't speak of the M56 tho.

Best if you go out and test drive them both at those speed. More than likely the bigger badder boy will pick up and go quicker.

I have the a M37X and passing is not even close to a problem ... the 3.7 has plenty get up and go. Yes, the M56 is a V8 but read a lot of reviews for that engine in the car. Almost all like the 3.7 as it makes the car lighter and handle better vs the V8.
