I've got the same on mine and it adds a little more 'music' to an already great tune.....
At anything more than half throttle, the intake can be heard to breathe deeply and adds some resonance to the exhaust.
Not intrusive at all.....just sweet....

Is the M 2 years old about now? -- 30k miles seems very reasonable for a 2 year old ride.
