Woodsy FX??

Hey guys...

Couldn't be more pleased with the coupe, but I'm building a house off the beaten path with a lot of acreage. I have a banger 4x4 for fun stuff, but I'd need the FX to occasionally negotiate poor road conditions and light 4wd environment. Rainy season can be serious at times.

Do any of you spend much time off road in yours? Do you feel the FX is too sophisticated for a woodsy environment? Stock clearance going to be an issue?

I suppose I could get a nice, big-*** pickup, but I've been fond of the FX since I got the G. It certainly would make for a more comfortable commute to work, but if it simply doesn't fit the bill, I'll consider something else.

Thanks in advance for your thoughts and experience.

Mike

Lucky for you these fine auto enthusiasts have allready put the FX vs. an American SUV to the off-road test.

Yeah...I saw the video. Still wondering if anyone here uses the fx off road on occasion and has any constructive criticism on how it holds up.

sigh...I suppose your collective silence answers my question. I'll probably do it anyway.

Look for some muddy fx pics next summer.

i wouldnt use the fx for off road use - its a luxury vehicle, why spend the money and ruin it, just get an explorer or jeep
