Let me know when you're in town, I can meet you somewhere or I can take a trip down to VRT. I haven't hung out there in a while, need to take a Bueller day.

Cal speedway was packed today. Best run was 13.3@103mph

Here's some video and the slip, no excuses on the time. Just need to get it down next month on the 28th at Cal Speedway.

Your reaction time is pretty good but it looks like it falls off the top? Are you powerbraking at the tree? Wheelhop?

I dynoed last week on a dynojet in SD, it was 412whp at 6500rpms so the power is not falling off on the top end. Lauched at 2k, I don't think there was any wheel hop off the line, you can hear the chirp going into 2nd and 3rd. Not sure what the elevation in Fontana is, I live near the coast so I'm usually closer to sea level.

First run I was lined up against a Hemi ram with nos, I had him off the line like this run but he was reeling me in by the end. I should go weigh this thing, do they let you weigh your car at truck scales? My guess is between 42-4600lbs.

rookie, I think I saw your FX35 on the 405 North tonight (9/23) around 9:30 PM or so near the 90 interchange. I noticed the VRT logo on the trunk and the black rims. Lookin pretty hot there.

Thanks man, that was me. Heading into work on a Saturday night sucks. FX is so dam dirty from the dusty winds out in Fontana.

Don't get me wrong that's pretty damn good but I'm just reading your numbers. Ride is still the sickest fx I've ever seen

Viet,

I'll post your 3 runs on steetfire tonight. The last run I taped near the finish line that damn thing sounds like a jet!!! The wind noise wasn't that bad so you can actually hear your FX. I will be tuned by the 28th so that we can have a VRT built engine 5AT shootout!!

Hey man, all good. I'm not a dillusional FX owner that think it's the fastest thing on wheels. I understand exactly what you're saying about the top of the run. The mph after the 1/8 was nothing to go wow over, the acceleration around town with the 3.7FD is much better but from a dig I think the 3.3 gains the mph faster.

What's up man, one of the runs taped of the lambo showed a huge sand storm/dust devil whatever you want to call it. I was hoping for a faster time but all good, we'll try next month. Bob's 700BB set up should be done too so maybe a few other VRT cars will be out.

We have to get there earlier, tech inspection for the last half of the 400 cars took forever. Thanks for making it out and taping it.

Amazing FX. Great times considering the weight of the vehicle
