thats too bad vortech only offeres a 1 year warranty, hp/tq wise, hows the vortech match up with lets say the stillen 2 since i still think stage 3 and 4 is illegal lol

so Voretch Supercharge Vs. Stillen Stage 2 Supercharge.. whose going to win?

+1 on the Vortech - I've done a considerable amount of homework on the matter and the outcome and feedback from current owners were always
positive. Obviously there is maintainance involved, but the amount of upkeep coupled with the lower price and larger output of ponies was well worth it.

To each their own, but when i make the decision it will most definitely be a Vortech.

Vortech: 412HP / 355 lbs/ft Flywheel (www.superchargersonline.com)
Price: $4,999.00

Stillen Stage 2: 382HP 313 lbs/ft Flywheel (www.stillen.com)
Price: $5,239.00

Stillen Stage 3: 410 hp / 339 lbs/ft Flywheel (www.stillen.com)
Price: $5,328.00

The Stillen SC will also require you to purchase an aftermarket hood with enough clearance to house the SC - their hoods price is: $649.00 +

I'm sure cheaper prices can be found if you shop around, but that gives you the basic variance between the two in regards to output and price.

depends what you want. If you want better power with no lag and don't mind your car sounding like a whining cat, go SP (procharger not stillen). If you want better power, and don't mind minimal turbo lag get a single turbo setup (turbonetics). If you want big power get a TT (greddy, aps, etc.)

ah i see, for me the hp/tq results matter obviosly but more over, the warranty is a big thing

from what ive seen and heard theres no warranties that are offered for turbos

with the superchargers, vortech obvoisly seems to be the winner--priced less, better results but what still leaves me undecided is the damn warranty...

1 year warranty through Vortech, 3 year warranty through Stillen (stage 2)

idk what im going to do...i like vortec and stillen, i love the looks of the stillen sitting on top of the engine cause i look at it like this.

if i go vortec ill want the kentix mass air manifold and that alone is 900 so im my eyes to add that to the list of the vortec in my book

ill prob do stillen cause the power is good and its relible and safe for stock engine internals...
