What about heat soak problems? Are you going to do a heat shield or tape on the tubes?

We actually dont believe there is much heat soak, because most of the heat is built up behind the velocity stack. When the vehicle is rolling, air comes through the factory air ram tube, and is directed torwards the LOWERED air filters. Also fresh air will most likely not get passed our gynormous air filters, and the air that does get passed by the filters would push hot air back torwards the engine bay and will not get sucked in.

So of course compared to a cold air intake, CAI would suck super chill air when the car is not moving versus plenty of heat soak on a short ram design. So less heat soak = drive fastar

Our intakes feel very good and the throttle response has cleared up tremendously.

We designed the intakes to point lower as much as we could torwards the factory air ram. Also with the powdercoat, I believe that our intake tubing would be least heated compared to any G37 intake available on the market.

2c, hit up Lou and put your name on the pre-order list. Let us know what color you want and also if you want a special number out of 22.

The serial badges will be done with dry carbon impregnated with your serial number before we autoclave it. So they will be a 100% smooth shiny surface It will most-likely be fixed with a little bit of adhesive and rivets.

Its going to look baalllleer!
