I got pulled over the other day for Tint and also got written up for not having a front plate fix it ticket.

I was thinking about just drilling two holes and using zip ties, but i'm not sure if it will pass.

Is there anyone in the OC area who can let me borrow their front tow hook plate for a couple hours to have this written off and avoid having to drill into my new IPL Front bumper.

Stillen does NOT make one for the IPL bumper.

Will 3mm tape hurt the paint? i'm just looking to pass then immediately take it off..

Yeah, 3M holds the plate well. Passed high speed testing.

 

What's the best way to get it off without damaging the paint ?

 

I just pulled lol. It took some effort but it didn't tear off any paint or anything else.
